When I was a kid my older sister introduced me to Depeche Mode – and I was hooked (for life it turned out). I bought all the records, tried to learn all the songs on piano and was the only boy in third grade with Doc Martens (clown shoes the girls called them I recall). When I heard they were coming to Stockholm to play I convinced my mother that I was old enough to go, and the weeks before the show I had a recurring dream. I was standing in the audience waiting for the band to start, and Dave Gahan comes out on stage and says into the microphone: “Martin is ill and we need a keyboardist that knows our songs!”. I reach up my hand, Dave points at me and says: “Come up and play with us!”. I’ve had this dream many times, even now…
I know we are not Depeche Mode – but now you can prepare for a surprise guest appearance in case of emergency! We are putting up all our songs (work in progress…) under the “Chord & Lyrics” tab!
Release party for the new EP from It’s a boy! Joined by some of the best musicians we know we play songs from the EP and Axel Boman controls the DJ booth!
Summer is always both intense and slow – for us as a group it’s been relatively quiet. But now we’re all gathered again after a month in the sun, so now we’ll being the ruckus to all the… fans out there. In the pipeline we have a couple of gigs in the upcoming weeks, we have recorded 4 new songs that will be available soon, we’re planning a photoshoot so that you can see who we are, a video is also being planned and a web site redesign is soon to come. Stay tuned for more info and releases!
